Three Major Annual
Fundraisers
In order to keep tuition more affordable, we conduct three
major fundraisers each year: the Annual Auction, the Annual Partners’
Banquet, and the CCS Golf Classic. All CCS families are expected to
participate in these fundraisers in order to help close the “tuition
gap” (unless they have paid the opt-out fee of $950).

Target’s
“Take Charge of Education” encompasses an overall commitment to
education. Target gives back over $2 million a week to communities
across America. Portions of these funds are dedicated to specific
education programs and initiatives, created by Target, to directly
improve funding for schools and opportunities for students.
Every
time you use your Target Visa or Target Guest Card® at a Target store
or target.com, Target will donate an amount equal to 1% of Target Visa
and Target Guest Card purchases made at Target and target.com, and 1/2%
of Target Visa purchases made elsewhere, to the eligible K-12 school of
your choice.
School Fundraising Program Rules/Qualifying Schools
The School Fundraising program is intended to benefit K-12 schools
located in the U.S., having a 501(c)(3) or 509(a)(1) tax-exempt status.
How the Program Works
-
You can sign up for the School Fundraising program by calling
1-800-316-6142 or by visiting target.com.
-
Designate an eligible K-12 school, and Target will donate an amount
equal to one percent (1%) of your Target® Visa® or Target Guest
Card® purchases (minus returns and sales tax) at any Target store
and target.com, and one-half percent (1/2%) of your Target Visa
purchases (not including cash advances, balance transfers, and
purchases of other cash equivalents, and minus returns and sales
tax) everywhere else you use your Target Visa.
-
Target will track purchases charged to participating accounts and
will distribute the accumulated donations to schools in March and
September.
General
Conditions
-
Only one school may be designated for each account. Schools must
meet the eligibility requirements described above.
-
Donation amounts begin to accrue when the school designation is
processed. The school donation will only be made for accounts in
good standing at the time donations are distributed to eligible
schools.
-
School donations through the School Fundraising program are not
tax-deductible.
-
Commercial/Business accounts are not eligible to participate in the
School Fundraising program.
-
Checks will not be mailed to schools whose payout is less than $25
(payouts under $25 will carry over to the next payment period).
Checks must be cashed before the expiration date on the check.
Checks are considered rejected if not cashed by their expiration
date.
-
Target Stores reserves the right to discontinue or alter the terms
of this program at any time.
